NOTE: The 3 tank barges are sold as-is-where-is and the Buyer must be prepared to purchase all three. The photos sent to Maritime Sales were sent without identifying which barge was in the photo. The best effort was made to identify which barge was which but there may be photos of one barge when in fact it is another. Since the year built is the same and the condition appears from the photos to be equal, the buyer will have to determine if the barges are suitable from your own survey and or inspection.
The capacity is given for the barges, however they are double hull barges with the wing tanks and double bottom. If you did not use the wing tanks for cargo the bbl. capacity would be reduced.
All three barges were built in 1966 and they were owned by Exxon. Their documents and COI's have expired. They are all suppose to be double skinned barges with heating coils in the tanks. The heating system for the heating coils may or may not exist.
Maritime Sales has not inspected the barges but it appears that while the coatings have failed due to age, the visible steel has surface rust but not a lot of pitting on the external hull or deck areas.
