   This DOUBLE HULL 24,000 barrel chemical barge has gone through its Special Survey in May, 2,001 and is ready to go to work immediately.  Owned until recently by a Major U.S. Chemical company, she has been maintained in great condition.  Her tanks are Goodyear Trioweld Rubber Lined with Air controlled valves.  There is a cofferdam valve room between tanks 1 and 2.   The Barge has been in lay up status.  It completed all US Coast Guard and ABS inspections and recommended repairs.  All regulatory requirements have been satisfied and the vessel received new certifications by the US Coast Guard and ABS in May 2,001.

Machinery & Equipment
Anchor Gear Victoria Machine Works hydraulically driven anchor windlass.  The anchor is mounted on stern with a Danforth style 1,500 pound anchor
Tow Gear Two bridles shackled into pad eyes one bridle is setup for towing and one is setup for emergency towline pickup 
Fuel Capacity Two 500 Gallon tanks mounted forward of the house on the Port and Starboard 
Ventilation Natural.  Ventilation of Cargo Tanks is by gooseneck vents at both ends of the cargo compartment expansions.  Ventilation to the valve space, cargo room and aft house is turbine type wind driven vents.  All Void compartments have automatic weight loaded pressure-vacuum valves.
Hydraulics/Compressed Air Vickers pump driven by main cargo pump engine.  The hydraulics drives the anchor windlass (Vickers Pump V-20-2P13S-1A-LH)
It has an electric driven air compressor and compressor is driven off the main cargo pump engine via a power take off and belts.  There is an air receiver onboard completely serviced and tested.
Electrical 120 VAC Lister Generator.  Batteries for running lights and starting of main Diesel engine.  110 VAC shore power connection and marine battery charger.
Electronics Automatic engine operating and alarm panels as well as a cargo valve indicator panel.  The barge was equipped with a Motorola radio signal package for operating the main engine, anchor windless and cargo valves.  NOTE: not presently operational
Fire & Safety 4 - 75 pound USCG approved CO2 bottles completely serviced for the aft house.
